Solid wood swingbases - Boenicke W8 /W11

The brilliant Boenickes W8 & W11 range of speakers are designed to work at their best when installed on a swing base. The principle is that the speaker hangs at the rear by two steel ropes then sits at the front on a ball bearing in a retaining cup. The result is that the speaker is suspended and wobbles!

Our aftermarket version is made from beautiful matching solid hardwood and come as a set of 4 which is sufficient for two speakers. You will also receive 2 brass cups and 2 ball bearings to complete the set.

Choices of wood finish include Walnut, oak, cherry, ash & black ash.

There is a number of further options including having the bases installed on stainless steel discs to further aid their stability & for those with carpets its also possible to have a matching carpet plinth supplied (swingbases don't work well on carpet without something underneath them). If you have uneven floors we also offer an adjustable version that can overcome uneven floors ensuring your speakers are level.
