The Rota-Jig™ V3 is a brand new design that seeks to ' turn the table ' on the hassle factor of the original Linn manufactured turntable jig design.

Those who have built/serviced an LP12 will know you need to work from both the top and underside of the deck which usually means flipping it over or stooping down to gain access.

Not anymore!

The Rota-Jig™ has a clever rotational design that clamps your turntable in place then allows you to flip the deck over quickly and safely. This new feature is exclusive to Solid-Sounds and aims to reduce both your time and the potential risk of damage whilst inverting your LP12 to gain access to the underneath.

The design has a number of unique features all of which attempt to address some of the frustrations often sited by many seasoned Linn Jig users:-

ROTATION: Once your LP12 is clamped into place on the Rota-Jig™ you can quickly rotate the position of your deck by simply removing the two retaining pins at the side. As the deck is clamped in four places with easy to use locking bolts making this process very simple and safe. It is of course important to put a cap on the bearing prior to rotating the deck otherwise it could get messy.

STORAGE: Rota-Jig™ dismantles very easily to store flat when not in use. This features means that those who are only wanting to perform an annual service/health check can stow away the jig when not in use.

PORTABILITY: Rota-Jig™ is designed to be portable with its convenient carry handle & detachable legs. The Rota-Jig™ V3 now only weighs 5kg so storage has never been so easy.

LEVELLING: Rota-Jig™ addresses the very important task of levelling the jig prior to setting the bounce with provided spirit levels. Each of the four legs are fitted with adjustable rubber feet to guarantee a solid footing on most surfaces.

ACCESS: Rota-Jig™ provides access to all base screws meaning the removal and attachment of any Linn or third party base is safe and easy to do.

PARTS: Say goodbye to loosing those pesky small parts, the Rota-Jig™ has a pair of detachable storage shelves. We can't 100% guarantee that something will not drop on the floor and make a quick dash under the nearest piece of furniture, that's just life! What we can do is provide you with somewhere to put the springs/grommets/bolts/clips & screws whilst the deck is dismantled. With the latest version you will also receive a magnetic tool attachment to further organise your workspace.

BUILD: The Rota-Jig™ V3 is now constructed from lightweight 30mm aluminium offering even better strength to weight ratio. The detachable legs are are attached/detached with a simple star bolt fixing and each has an adjustable levelling foot.

PACKAGING: Each rota-Jig™ is supplied an a sturdy 100% biodegradable shipping box. Working hard with our suppliers we are proud to say that all the packaging you will receive your rota-jig in is biodegradable even including the maize based packing peanuts!
